X-files 2: Finally a real trailer!
March 27th 2008 05:45
Paley Fest, I love you. It's as simple as that.
Within hours of the end of (from the sound of it AWESOME) X-files panel at this year's Paley Fest, we have a trailer (Thanks to ChelseaXF4L72508 for posting it!)
Finally! Mulder and Scully in the same scene! YAY!!!
And what about that split second that looked a lot like the rumored "staged" pictures from before? Hmmm.... *bites her lip nervously* They sure didn't seem very happy in the "Scully I need you on this with me", "That's what scares me" scene...Argh! Just be July already!
Fans were treated to a very nice surprise as the panel consisted of a wonder of X-files veterans! In attendance were not only the announced Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz, but also:
Rob Bowman
Paul Rabwin
Darin Morgan
Glen Morgan
David Nutter
Howard Gordon
Nick Lea
Dean Haglund
Mitch Pileggi
*****SPOILER ALERT Proceed at your own risk!

From TV Guide:
Oh how I wish I could have been there.
Special thanks to EVERYONE who contributed to the quick posting of XF2 news as the event was happening!
(PS-Anyone know who put the first video online? I'd like to credit them, but so far I can't find a name...? Thanks!

From TV Guide:
UPDATE: The fans asked Chris Carter if we could re-watch the trailer, and he happily agreed. The fans went nuts at the first showing, but even more so when they could fully soak up the images the second time around. In my opinion, the story seems to begin with a young girl that is taken by something followed by a massive FBI search effort that takes place in a large snowy field. Interspersed between the images are messages from the show's past about "truths." Smash to black... then the famous, eery tones of the theme song filled the air. Then a barrage of images flash across the screen, some dark and scary, and some of our heroes, Mulder and Scully looking older, but fabulous. And judging from Scully's reaction to Mulder asking for her help, she's been away from the FBI for a while... but not away from him. There was a total lovey-dovey shot of them about to kiss in the trailer.
Bonus tid-bit! Directly from Chris Carter on the press line, and again at the panel, Baby William that so many of you asked about WILL be addressed in the movie in some fashion. You heard it here [TV Guide] first!

I couldn't agree with you more Amy!
"Believe Again" would be an awesome title! It wouldn't give anything too important (plot wise) away, yet would be very perfectly X-files.
