So I just joined Ultimate X-Files and I've decided that I like it better than Haven. The people on Haven were kind of mean, in my opinion. Btw, I'm so going to send something to Project Thank You. Are you two? Also, I saw the movie again last night and have such a greater appreciation for it!! Caught most of the cameos, too. =) I also have some ideas about XF3, which, cal me optimistic, but I really think has chance of happening. I also found a good review of IWTB on www.salon.com. It made some good points, although some of it's concrete details were vague. Wow, I sound like I'm back in freshman lit. Aaah! Spooky. =) And lastly, I am still working on getting all my stuff from the Con together. I finished writing my article yesterday. It goes to print today, so I should have everything ready by tomorrow. And very lastly, ILTM!!! =) I'm so happy I can say that now, without any hesitations!!

Yay Amy! I'm so glad you can join in the the true ILTM-ing! hehe Yeah I definitely needed to see it again to get everything.

And yes, I am going to send in something to Project Thank You...what I'm not sure yet (I mean really, where do we even start? LoL), but I'll send in something. Hey what about including our LGM parody pic along with each of our individual thank yous? That'd be kind a cool! A thank you from the tvchitchat girls

Anyone else want XF3 like, um, now? lol

I am wondering what and if I am gonna send anything to the Project Thank You, I mean I'm faaaaaaaar away from USA and I have no idea what to do LOL But I would love to express my gratitude to the cast and crew. I sooo love that movie

So apparently the second part of the Jimmy Kimmel video is not available on youtube in the US? Paula, is it available in Poland?

Either way, abc.com should post it soon. I want to hear the end of the interview! Speaking of interviews, I think he did the best job out of all three. Leno was pretty good too. Letterman's interview was just awkward. Simon Pegg's story about Spaced was freakin' hilarious though!

And that is a very pink dress she is wearing. lol. As for Thank You Project-- I'm going to send a copy of my paper with a thank you letter or something. Pics sound good too, albeit I don't want to scare them with my fandomness. Hahaha

Oh sad. I watched it on TV last night so I didn't even check to see if the full interview was on the youtube video. I agree, I think he did a great job and Leno too. And yes, Letterman's interview was just awkward. LoL I remember that interview too. I missed Simon Pegg's Spaced story! Saw that Gillian wasn't sticking around so changed the channel. LoL Don't forget to catch David on Jimmy Kimmel tonight!

I'll probably just send a thank you and maybe the pic. By now I doubt anything could freak CC and Co. out as far as how loyal/obessive the fans are. I mean, this time around they seem to really be enjoying it.

Hmm, my ideas for the new movie? Should I spoiler-ify this?

OK, here goes:
First, my reasoning that there will be a third movie: The budget on IWTB was significantly small (around $30 million), which it will definitely make back. Domestic opening weekend gross was over $10 million. Add continuing gross plus international gross, and that's a bankable movie. 20 Cen Fox would be stupid not to go for another one. Plus, the Sci-Fi world loves trilogies.

As for IWTB, I think fans/public/whatever needed a scary stand alone because by the end of the series, people were pretty burned out on the conspiracy. This movie kind of reminded everyone what is at the heart of the x-files and showed a pivotal point in the characters' lives and the M-S relationship.
I think XF3 will revisit the mythology arc/conspiracy, focusing on the whole 2012-Mayan calendar-super-soldiers-recol onizing-the-earth idea placing Mulder, Scully, and William in the thick of it.
In IWTB, Scully made it quite clear that she was done "chasing monsters" etc., so the only thing that could possibly motivate her to return to that world would be her son.
I think the next movie will pair M&S up on a search for William and the race to save him (from the baddies or even himself) and the rest of the world. It would probably go into post-production 2011.

Phew, that was long!
So those are my thoughts. Anyone else?

I agree with some of what they said, but wish I could have put my two cents in. Per that review, I've decided I'm only going to send Chris Carter and crew the actual cover story.

When I will not be so tired, I will read rest of them..... ahhhh reading it made me remeber that I used to write... a lot.... I even studied to be a jurnalist... and look at me now... I am weeding and mowning the loan.... LOL Anyway, I so envy you the meeting with CC and FS
