Here's another little tidbit from TV Line about the 1940's Supernatural episode which is guest starring both Moonlight's Jason Dohring and X-files alum Nicholas Lea!
Jan. 13 episode of Supernatural, in which the God of Time (Veronica Mars‘ Jason Dohring) sends Dean to 1944, where he is promptly cuffed by Eliot Ness (X-Files‘ Nicholas Lea). According to the official synopsis for the episode, “While trying to figure out how to retrieve his brother [from the past], Sam is surprised by the reappearance of an old friend.”
The paper cranes that were signed for X-philes for Japan by the cast and crew of The X-files (see pictures below) are now up for auction. Head on over to bid HERE. You'll be getting a very unique one-of-a-kind X-files collectible and doing it for a good cause! All proceeds from this auction go to the Japan NGO Earthquake Relief and Recovery Fund. The auctions end a date all X-philes will be able to remember: 1121. Good luck everyone, and a big thanks to all those involved!
Check out the pictures below for a sneak peek at the cranes!
Good news X-files fans, this TV season we'll be getting a double dose of Nick Lea! He's guest starring in ABC's Once Upon A Time as Hansel and Gretel's dad in Fairy Tale Land (a mechanic in the "real" world), and, in a role that makes me grin, a legendary FBI agent/secret hunter (you may have heard of) on Supernatural.
The CW’s Supernatural has found its Eliot Ness aka the legendary, real-life G-man who led The Untouchables.
The X-Files vet Nicholas Lea will step into the iconic role for a Season 7 time-travel episode. [He] will appear in Episode 12, which visits Ness’ professional heyday during the 1940s. There, it will be posited that the FBI agent also had another job — as a hunter!
This year TEAM SUPERNATUURAL's challenge is to raise over $10,000.00 to support the cure for cancer in honor of executive producer/director Kim Manners who passed away suddenly from lung cancer. They're almost half way to their goal so head on over HERE to donate!
Rumor has it that X-files veteran Mitch Pileggi (a.k.a. Walter Skinner, a.k.a. Sam and Dean's flash-back grandpa) will be back next season in Supernatural, possibly in a recurring role! To refresh your memory, Samuel Campbell appeared in S4's 'In the Beginning' when Dean was sent back in time Back to the Future style to see how his parents became hunters. Er, well, how his mom was already a hunter, his dad became one, and why the Yellow-Eyed Demon came after their family years later. Considering how we left him, it'll be interesting to see how they bring him back.
In honor of the late great Kim Manners (The X-files, Supernatural), who sadly passed away suddenly from cancer last year, TEAM SUPERNATURAL will be biking from Vancouver to Seattle for the BC Cancer Foundations two-day cycling journey
Just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas with a few of my favorite Christmas moments in TV over the years. I wish you all the happiest of holidays with friends, family, and good traveling weather! Enjoy!
Today was quite a busy day in the sci-fi fandom world. First there was The X-files IBG charity event in California, then the Supernatural Chicago con. How I would have loved to be at both! Sadly, I got to go to neither, however the greatness of the internet allows all us poor souls who didn't get to go a look at some of what happened
Once again Supernatural dominated this year's Portal Awards, winning Best Actor, Best Episode, and Best Series. Michael Emerson of Lost won Best Supporting Actor in a television series, and Gillian Anderson beat out Cate Blanchett for best Best Actress/Movie. Read on for the complete list of winners below.
Voting is now open for this year's Constellation Awards (Canada's fan awards for excellence in science fiction television and film), and some of our favorites have been nominated (including Jensen Ackles, Supernatural, and Gillian Anderson for IWTB)
Well I'll be off tomorrow to celebrate the holidays with family, but before I left I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or whatever it is you celebrate this time of year. May you all have safe travels and lots of fun with friends and family! See you when I get back!
