Supernatural: The Kids are Alright
October 12th 2007 03:38
Let's face it. Little kids are scary. They’re even scarier when it turns out they're changelings sucking on their mothers’ necks. This week's episode had Sam and Dean investigating a town of very freaky little kids. It started out great with Sam trying to talk to Bobby on the phone about a possible way to get Dean out of his demon deal. When Dean comes in he quickly hangs up and says he was just ordering a pizza. Insert favorite moment #1:
*Dean looks around*
Dean: Dude, you do realize that you’re in a restaurant?
Sam: Yeah, oh yeah. I--I just felt like pizza, ya know?
Dean: Okay, weirdy Mcweirderton.
Next, how much was it to watch Dean’s reaction to the thought that Ben (the main little kid in the episode) might be his? By the end he’s almost sad that he’s not seeing as how he only has one year to live and Ben’s such a cool kid.
Anyway, getting back to Ben’s birthday party...When Dean’s off getting cake, two of the moms in the background start talking...
Mom 1: Did you hear Lisa call him Dean?
Mom 2: Yeah, why?
Mom 3: You don’t know about Dean? The Dean? Best Night of My Life Dean?
Mom 4: No, tell me.
Lisa, Ben's mother, assures Dean that he's not his, but it’s too cute/funny when Dean helps him get his video game back. Even though they both end up getting in trouble by Ben's mom...
Crazy-Sam-Stalker reappears. Really didn't like her in the beginning, then *bam* she hits you with who she really is in the end, and well…*grumbles* if she can help Sam help Dean.....grrrr Doesn’t mean I like her though. She does have some pretty shocking news for Sam about his mom’s friends…like how they’re all dead.
Dean and Sam figure out what’s going on with the changelings and, of course, arrive just in time to save the kids. Sam and Dean saving little kids while fighting off the mother changeling? Awwww...
Can’t wait for next week with the good luck charms, it looks hilarious!
