I love the funny episodes! This week Sam and Dean find out that their dad had a storage locker that someone broke into and have to go check it out. They find a bunch of stuff, including a soccer trophy of Sam’s and Dean’s first sawed off shotgun. He made it himself in sixth grade. Awwww...
But I’m getting slightly ahead of myself, so let me back up. Remember Gordon? The other hunter who was trying to kill Sam and tied up Dean in that chair while they waited for the grenades to go off? Well, he’s still in jail, but now he’s getting other people on the outside to gang up with him because he’s determined that, “Sam Winchester must die.” Not cool Gordon. Not cool.
Even worse for Sam, as he and Dean find out that one of the missing locked boxes from their father’s storage unit is missing and it just so happens to have a very lucky rabbit’s foot in it. The two guys who stole it end up with great luck until Sam and Dean show up and Sam touches the rabbit’s foot. *Insert great funny fight scene here* Then all the luck turns in Sam’s favor. At least for a while.
When they find out from Bobby that you have the best luck ever as long as you don’t lose the rabbits foot, Dean buys a bunch of lottery tickets (which Sam of course wins), then *insert angelic “Ahh, ah, AHHHH” here* Another great thing happens, perhaps one of Dean’s wishes come true! He and Sam win free food for a year from the diner they just happened to walk into. That prize picture was hilarious! Haha
The second of the two new girls, Bella, shows up as a girl who knows the truth but decides to use it only for herself. Basically she steals supernatural things and sells them to the highest bidder. She steals the rabbit’s foot and Sam dumps his coffee on him, steps in gum, loses his shoe in the gutter, and falls flat on his face on the way out of the restaurant. Oh, poor Sam! But he’s so sad puppy dog cute in this episode, I love it!
Dean takes Sam to a hotel and tells him not to do anything, don’t turn on the lights, don’t turn off the lights, don’t even itch your nose. The second he leaves Sam has to scratch his nose. The heater starts on fire, Sam puts it out and then suddenly his arm starts on fire. He grabs the curtains to put it out and knocks himself out, thus letting the two guys trying to kill him know exactly where he is!
Dean finds Bella and, yay for us, Dean really doesn’t like her. He steals the rabbit’s foot back, then goes to save Sam before the two new guys beat him to death. Next comes the great scene where Dean shows up, realizes he’s got the best luck EVER and puts his gun down, stops the other guys gun with a pen, sidesteps a punch and realizes, “I’m amazing.” Dean throws the remote at the guy, knocking him out and then one of my favorite lines: “I’m Batman!” hahaha! Sam’s reply? A sarcastic, “Yeah, you’re Batman.”
They find out from Bobby how to lift the curse, and go to the cemetery to bury it. Bella shows up, wants it, and Dean and Sam say no. She threatens to shoot them, and Dean doesn’t believe her. She shoots Sam in the shoulder (yet another reason for Dean to hate her), and so he throws the rabbit’s foot at her. Once she touches it, she has to burn it. Ha! Take that! When she tells them she’s now on the bad side of some very bad people Dean says, “Wow, I really don’t feel bad about that, do you?” Sam, “Nope, not at all.”
She drives off, and poor Dean realizes she stole his winning lottery cards.
I loved this episode! There were so many great lines/moments I don’t even know where to start, but here are just a few other than the ones I’ve already mentioned:
*After Sam tells Dean about Ruby (a.k.a. Crazy Sam Stalker)…
Dean: She knows what your weakness is, it’s me!
*After they find out Sam’s the luckiest man alive…
Dean: I say we hit Vegas. Like Rain Man, you can be Rain Man.
*After Sam’s luck disappears and he falls…
Dean: Wow. You suck.
*After they call Bobby…
Bobby: Just look out for your brother.
(Dean turns around to find Sam staring forlornly at a rain gutter”
Dean: What?
Sam: I lost my shoe.
Such a great episode! Can’t wait for next week!
