Song of the Week Saturday: Walking in Memphis

This week's song was featured in The X-files black & white episode "Post-Modern Prometheus". The scene it was used in (in which the kind-hearted "monster" finally gets to go to a Cher concert and dance with the woman he loves) is still one of my all time favorite X-files episode endings (and one of my favorite episodes in general ). The story was so sweet and that dance at the end with Mulder and Scully is classic! The song is Cher's "Walking in Memphis". Enjoy!

Song of the Week Saturday: "The Sky is Broken"

As per request, this week's Song of the Week is also a Moby song. The Sky is Broken was featured in The X-files episode "All Things", written and directed by Gillian Anderson. The song was heard both in the beginning and end of the episode with little hints throughout the entire episode. Very atmospheric with a meszmorizing feel. Fit the episode perfectly...not to mention one of my favorite scenes.
