Introducing the TV Chit Chat Forums

I’ve been thinking about this for a really long time, and have finally decided to try it out. That’s right, I’ve created my own forums dedicated to all of my favorite shows. No more running around to half a dozen sites all over the net trying to remember logins and passwords for every different forum. Whoohoo!


The main forum is HERE but for those of you interested in only one show, here's a quick link to each of the seperate message boards with the others collapsed for easier viewing.

All Next Week's Promos in One Place

Okay guys, here it is. I don't know about you, but I find it annoying trying to go searching for all the "next week" promos for all my favorite shows, so here they are. All the promos for next week I could find in one place. Enjoy!

Private Practice: Let It Go

Addison takes over the practice, Charlotte and Cooper decide they’ll be a real couple now and decide to get HIV tests, and everyone’s excited it’s “Jenna day” (they’re giving a dying 17 year old her last wish by harvesting her eggs to give her her dream of having a baby).


Pete tries to talk Meg out of of smoking.

Naomi and Sam’s daughter catches them in bed together and is so excited they’re getting back together that they don’t have the heart to tell her otherwise. Violet’s best friend from college, who is now running for political office, asks her to wipe her medical records.

Addison is the only one who thinks getting Jenna and her husband pregnant is “essentially creating an orphan”. Everyone else has known her and her family forever, and they all want this.

Violet tells Cooper that her best friend wants her to wipe her medical records, and Cooper reminds her that he’s her best friend. She tells him that he used to be…Charlotte shows up to go get her and Cooper’s HIV tests.

Addison gives Dell the role of “Enforcer” to help her get The Practice back on track, and starts to feel like an outsider. She runs into Jenna’s husband Nick, and asks him how he’s going to work going to college and being a single father. Seems Nick hasn’t really thought about it.

When Jenna and her parents ask Pete to take a family picture of them with Nick just as Naomi is about to finish the procedure, Nick suddenly panics. He tells them he’s really sorry, they’ve all been so nice to him, but he doesn’t want to have a baby. He rips off his surgical hat and runs out. Everyone is shocked.

Sam asks Cooper what would be on his list of things he’d want to do before he died, and Cooper is suddenly paranoid. What, did he get his test results back from Dell?

Everyone is standing out in the hall trying to get Nick to come out. When he finally does, he tells them all that Addison made him realize that they all wanted this, but what about him? What about what he wants? Nick stalks off and suddenly Addison feels even more like an outsider.

Violet meets with her friend and tells her that her past mental illness isn’t something to hide from. It’s something she can use. Mental illness isn’t something she should bury. Her friend tells her neither is rape.

Cooper pierces Sam’s ear since it’s on the list of things Sam wants to do before he dies. Cooper would really like to get his test results back before he dies.

Thanks to Dell, Addison finds out that The Practice has a ton of space on the fourth floor that they’re not using. If they leased the space, they could get all the money they need without having to work extra hours and charge people more. Addison is furious with both Naomi and Sam for not telling her about the space to begin with, and then agreeing that they don’t want to give up what The Practice could be. Frustrated, Addison just tells them that eventually she’s just going to stop caring whether they forgive her or not. Do they want to save The Practice or not? Naomi just cuts back that she already ruined one girl’s future, does she want to ruin theirs too? Addison storms out.

Naomi notices Sam’s earring. They decide they should probably talk about things tonight.

Everyone talks about their problems with their partner of the moment. Addison to Kevin about her problems with trying to be the head of The Practice, Charlotte and Cooper about the fact that they’re still waiting for their tests, and Pete's still trying to get Meg about to stop smoking.

Sam shows Naomi his list of things he wants to do before he dies. She looks at it. “Climb Mt. Everest? Is that with or without your inhaler?”

“Hey don’t mock my list.”

Jenna and her parents show up and Jenna tells Sam and Naomi that she still wants this baby, with or without Nick. She wants a sperm donor. Pete doesn’t know if this is such a great idea and finally sides with Addison against Naomi.

Cooper follows Violet to the medical records place and tries to talk her out of wiping her friend’s records. She needs an ID to check out the records but doesn’t have one, and suddenly Charlotte shows up vouches for her. Cooper tries to remind them that the hospital has rules, but Charlotte wants to go see what’s taking their test results so long and Violet assures Cooper she doesn’t need his help. Cooper leaves with Charlotte and Violet sneaks off with the medical files.

Pete finds Nick down at the beach punching a punching bag. He tells Nick that Jenna wants to use a sperm donor and Nick tells him that he doesn’t want Jenna to be happy with a baby, she’s dying. He just wants her to be happy with him in the time they have left.

~*~*~

Violet confronts her friend, pointing out that she poured her heart out, told her everything about what “he did.” And “you? You told me nothing.”

~*~*~

Addison finally confronts Naomi about the whole Jenna issue. “Some dreams, you have to let go.”

~*~*~

Violet’s DA friend tells her the truth about her horrible childhood, and how she’s afraid that no matter how she tries to defend it, the headlines will read that she murdered her mother. Violet sets her medical records on the table. She’s giving her the chance to be the person she wants to be, to do the right thing. She can’t. The DA begins shredding her records. Violet walks out.

Jenna approaches Sam and Naomi to tell them that she’s picked out a sperm donor. Naomi tells her that she can’t do this. She finally talks about what everyone’s been avoiding, the fact that Jenna is dying and they all love her so much that they couldn’t tell her no. Nobody wants her to die, but having another baby is not the answer. Pete and Nick show up and Nick admits that he doesn’t want a baby, but he does want her. Jenna rushes over to hug her husband, finally admitting, “I don’t want to die.”

Naomi helps Sam take out his earring and he decides that he really wants to do this, to move back in together and try to make this work. Naomi suddenly decides that if they move back in it won’t change that fact that it wasn’t working. “We never really let go Sam,” She tells him, handing back his earring. “We have to let go.” She kisses his cheek. “Buy Sam.”

After the door shuts behind her, Sam says, “Goodbye Naomi.”

Violet shows up in Cooper’s office and admits that she messed up. She didn’t even do it for the right reasons, she just…she needed a friend. He has Charlotte, and she has nobody. Dell shows up with Cooper’s test results and Violet tells him to go ahead and open them.

“Later.” Cooper sits down on the couch next to her. “Right now I think my best friend needs me.”

Violet lays her head on his shoulder.

Naomi admits to Addison that she was wrong. She can go ahead and lease the office. Good, because Addison already did. They get into the elevator and Naomi tells her that she’ll make a great leader.

“Thank you.”

As Meg gets ready to leave for Guiana, Pete finally tells her that the reason he’s been trying to get her to stop smoking is because his wife died before she could stop.

Naomi apologizes for getting her daughter’s hopes up that her parents were getting back together. She holds her and assures, “We’re gonna be okay.”

Private Practice: A Family Thing

We’re reminded by what each doctor in The Practice does by clip of a new video Naomi’s decided they needed to make to get new patients.

Sam wishes he could just have one patient who didn’t complain about having to have a colonoscopy. It’s not like he enjoys giving one either

Private Practice: In Which Addison Has a Very Casual Get-Together

Poor Addison tries to have a party with her new coworkers, and no one RSVPs. Except for Dell suddenly when she brings it up. A very nervous Sam goes on TV and tells people that he cares about his patients, and when one man is self-conscious about being bald, Sam reminds him that many important people are bald. Like the Arm & Hammer guy. This, of course, is what he’s teased about throughout the rest of the episode, as the Arm & Hammer “bald guy” is really just an arm and a hammer
