Peter Falk dies at 83

Actor Peter Falk, best known for his iconic role as Columbo and, in two of my favorite movies, the grandpa in Princess Bride and Sam Diamond in Murder by Death, has died.
A family spokesperson says Falk, 83, died Thursday night (June 23) at his home in Beverly Hills. He had been suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's disease in recent years.
