Just a quick update to mark your calendars with. Moonlight star Alex O'Loughlin's Criminal Mind's episode will be on CBS Wednesday April 29th, 2009 at 9/8c.
Moonlight fans, if you're like me, you'll be torn with the news that our own Alex O'Loughlin is returning to CBS to gueststar in an upcoming episode of Criminal Minds...
The change-of-pace hour, which is tentatively scheduled to air in April, will track a case from the POV of a serial killer, played by O'Loughlin.
This is O'Loughlin's first leap back into TV since Moonlight was laid to rest nine months ago. At press tour last month, CBS president Nina Tassler -- who signed the Aussie hunk to a development deal in August -- hinted that we may see him back on the network "soon" in a new project.
On one hand, I say it's about time they let the poor guy work again! He's a great actor and we want to see more of him. He deserves his own show. On the other hand, I'm still mad at CBS for canceling Moonlight and haven't watched anything of theirs since...Hmmm...what to do, what to do?
Don't forget that Sci Fi will begin start airing reruns of Moonlight on Fridays at 9/8c beginning this Friday, January 23, 2009. The DVDs also come out that day, so mark your calendars!
For those of you who have no idea what "Moonlight" is about, here's the trailer. Just remember that it's NOT CBS but Sci-Fi now.
Well I'll be off tomorrow to celebrate the holidays with family, but before I left I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or whatever it is you celebrate this time of year. May you all have safe travels and lots of fun with friends and family! See you when I get back!
I did not make any of these videos, but enjoyed watching them! [ Click here to read more ]
This week's song is "Saving Josh" by Trevor Morris. It was featured in a few episodes of Moonlight, but you'll most likely remember it from "Love Lasts Forever". For those of you who haven't seen the episode, I won't spoil it for you, but this scored an emotional scene that is still one of my favorites from the show. I think this song captures everything I loved about the look and feel of Moonlight, the tragic hopefulness of it all. *suddenly misses Mick St. John a lot* Enjoy
The Sci Fi network announced that they will begin airing reruns of Moonlight on Fridays at 9/8c beginning January 23, 2009. Yesssss! Come on guys, let's show CBS what they're missing! If you didn't catch the show about the brooding vampire-who-hates-be-a-vampire turned PI, I highly recommend it! And those of you who know me know I don't recommend just anything. Finally some good "Moonlight" news! Seems the Region 1 DVDs will be coming out in January 20, 2009 (Well look at that, just in time for my birthday...). Visit Amazon.com to pre-order yours now! Also, remember those "Save Moonlight" busses that we were supposed to be seeing a long time ago? Well, seems they've finally made it to the street. Here are some pictures thanks to Moonlight-United. Anyone else really miss this show
In three days, the people of TV will get together to congratulate each other on their awesomeness of making it through a Writers’ Strike shortened season. But a look at the list of nominees makes me think, wait a second, there’s some good people missing here
Despite the stake through the heart (or should I now say decapitation and burning?) CBS gave our beloved vampire, it looks like Alex O'Loughlin is still coming back. Only he won't be playing Mick St. John. [ Click here to read more ]
Operation: Renew Moonlight continues! If you live in the Los Angeles area, look for Moonlight ads to start showing up on buses beginning August 18! Any New York fans seen the ad on billboards or cabs yet?
This week's song comes from the Moonlight finale "Sonata". It's the song Love Remains the Same by Gavin Rossdale that plays both at the beginning when Mick and Beth are dancing and at the end with the big kiss. Listen to it here.
