Look to see Lost's Daniel Dae Kim and Moonlight's Alex O'Loughlin on the new Hawaii Five-0 next year.
From ET:
I wasn't so sure about this whole remake until I heard about the cast. I'm a big fan of both these guys, so I have faith that it'll turn out pretty good. Let's just hope they don't get canceled after half a season. :/
From ET:
"Moonlight" and "Three Rivers" star Alex O'Loughlin signs to star in his third series for CBS: "Hawaii Five-0."
O'Loughlin will play Detective Steve McGarrett, the role played by Jack Lord in the original series, which ran from 1968 to 1980.
In the Lord version of the show, the McGarrett headed Five-O team was a special state police unit answering only to the Governor of Hawaii.
"Lost" star Daniel Dae Kim has previously been signed to play Detective Chin Ho Kelly, the uniform originally worn by Kam Fong.
It is not yet confirmed if the series will shoot in Hawaii, but a spokesperson for CBS said it is "likely."
