DirecTV Wants To Know: Would You Switch?

Yesterday a rep from DirecTV called MLL’s Leeser and said that Moonlighters have definitely caught their attention. They would like more information about actual numbers, though, so Leeser has posted a poll at MLL asking if you have DirecTV now or would be willing to get DirecTV if they sponsored Moonlight. You do need to be a member at MLL to vote, but registration is quick and easy. The folks at DirecTV will be monitoring the poll. Go vote!!
UPDATE 06.20.08: DirecTV has been by for a look and have commented on the “phenomenal response” (their exact phrasing)!



Also, A Word from Jason, a Word from Alex, and Rally Reports below...

Jason Dohring (Josef) appeared at Breakout: Beyond in London this past weekend. Although it was a Veronica Mars-themed convention, he was asked about Moonlight and said that he knew the show wasn’t officially dead and he was aware of the talks with TNT.


In addition, Alex O’Loughlin responded to a fan’s MySpace message of support with the following:

Dear Alyssa

Thanks for everything your doing. I’m so proud of our little show and hate to watch it die. The support you guys have given me and the rest of the cast has been overwhelming.

It’s been a year! Celebrate with an original song parody!

I can’t believe it, but as of yesterday, it’s been a year since I took over the blogging of TV Chit Chat, and what a year it’s been! Aside from the (dare utter it?) Writers’ Strike and lack of awards shows, there were some definite quotable quotes, *GASP!* moments, and great new shows actually worth watching. And so, in honor of this season, I thought it only appropriate to recap the year in the form of…*ahem* original parody of a popular song…

(Why am I having a Bones moment? Oh right…)

Operation Renew Moonlight adds TNT to the mix

The fight for Moonlight continues, and it looks like TNT is being added to the network contact list.


From Moonlight-United.com:

We have it on good authority that TNT is interested in Moonlight, so we are now encouraging Moonlighters to step up our efforts with TNT by contacting them online and/or via snail mail to voice request that they pick up the show. Please use the information included below and follow instructions carefully.

Go to TNT’s Support Center. Select “Contact Us”, choose “Other” in the scroll down box, click “Contact Us” again, and then click “My Answer Is Not Here”. That will take you to the contact form where you can submit your request/support for TNT picking up Moonlight.

The sets have been taken down but not destroyed, so that's good news! Fans are continuing to fight for their show, and although CBS isn't listening the WB is, so don't give up the fight yet! To see the most recent efforts and developments in saving Moonlight, please go here.

We open on Josef is being honored for his generous donation to the Sarah Whitley Memorial Sports Arena. In honor of the occasion, Hurst College is retiring the #24 jersey in honor of their star player Dominic Michaels. Dominic gets up to shake hands with everyone
