Last Season for Heroes?
December 20th 2009 01:15
Seems some people think so. Rumors are flying that this may be the end for our favorite TV heroes. It's no secret that the show has slipped since it's very good first season, but I wouldn't call it terrible. I mean, I'm still watching, right?
(ANOTHER) SPOILER ALERT
According to The Ausiello Files over at EW:
The fans have spoken. One day after you voted by an overwhelming majority that you'd like Sendhil Ramamurthy to be the next star killed off of Heroes, NBC announced he's been cast in a new pilot called Rex Is Not Your Lawyer. So this means his character Mohinder is going to die, right? Well... maybe. There might be a much bigger death in the works: the series. A well-placed Heroes source tells me of Sendhil's casting: "Everyone is expecting this to be the last season. The cast, the crew, everyone." Which would explain why Sendhil has been cast in an NBC pilot. Clearly, the Peacock peeps wouldn't place Sendhil (who is pretty funny in real life, by the way, and who should do well on a dramedy) on a new series if they expected a conflict ahead. A rep for NBC tells us: "Rex is just a pilot right now, so Sendhil is still on Heroes. Rex is in second position to Heroes."
