J.J. Abrams wants to believe in XF2

May 8th 2008 08:23

So I was bored while waiting in the long lines at the grocery store (seems everyone in town decided to go shopping at the same time--I blame the blizzard the day before!) and low and behold, what should show up in the latest Rolling Stone? A random Q&A with Lost creator J.J. Abrams about a certain summer movie...

Q: Which summer movie are you excited about?
A: Definitely The X-Files.

Q: Do you think Mulder and Scully will finally end up together?
A: Good relationships shouldn't be this hard. If they don't end up together this time, I quit.

Haha, that's great. Chris Carter has mentioned how much he likes Lost, and it turns out J.J. Abrams is an X-phile!

The movie is also mentioned in the magazine's 2008 Summer Movie Preview HERE.

Also, as I was flipping through the previews of the other summer movies, the trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening had me thinking of The X-files. You'll understand when you watch it...think bees...

Did I not say there was something weird going on with the bees when that news first came out? Chris Carter, is there something you're not telling us?? LoL
