Friday night Lights’ Brea Grant will reportedly join the Heroes cast as a girl with super speed, according to TV Guide.com. The website also reports that Jessalyn Gilsig will reprise her role as Claire's “white-trash mom” for five episodes next season.

HEROES BACK IN PRODUCTION

Heroes began filming the first of 25 new episodes on May 1 for a scheduled return following the Summer Olympics, according to executive producer Allan Arkush, When it does return, fans should expect a heavy emphasis on villains – especially Sylar – Arkush told TV Guide. “We're picking up exactly where we left off," he told the magazine. "There will be some huge surprises." Those surprises include the introduction of a new series regular and Matt Parkman exploring his newfound power.
