Grey's Anatomy

To quote Chandler Bing, “Could that be any more awkward?”
George finally takes the plunge with his one-sided crush on Meredith, after nearly two years of stalling and admiring from afar… and she starts to cry. During the act. Yeah, I think I would have ended up on my boss’s couch too.
Yes, I am talking about Grey’s Anatomy. Like it or loathe it, it's kind of inescapable.
The not-so-sutble theme of tonight's episode "What Have I Done to Deserve This?" was karma, and it plays out in several interesting ways.
Alex realises that Izzie doesn’t return his feelings the way he wants her to, and that she has it bad for their resident heart patient, Denny Duquette (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who you might recognise as dark and brooding John Winchester from Supernatural), setting up a storyline that will become prominent in future episodes.
Addison contracts poison ivy in a, shall we say, awkward area, something of a fitting punishment for the adultery she committed a year ago.
Meredith and Derek decide that they can push aside their hormonal urges and give their friendship a temporary test run. Yeah. We can all see where that's going.
And George finally gets a cute girl to give him her number, with (hopefully) no additional trappings attached- like say that pesky syphilis he caught from a nurse a year ago, or the aforementioned burning humiliation of his one night with Meredith.
It was nice to see that storyline finally resolved, and Meredith knocked off the pedestal George seems to have her eternally elevated on (because who doesn't want to see Meredith kicked down somehow? Or is that just me?). In a nice change of pace, George also takes over the narration for the episode (though his commentary is no less overdramatic or irrelevant. Seriously, voiceover should have been revived and then unrevived with Desperate Housewives).
Grey’s Anatomy is more like a turbid soap opera than a serious medical drama, and let's face it, that’s why we like it. The convoluted relationships, the quirky characters and perplexing cases all band together to form an entertaining piece of television that has become a permanent fixture in our everyday conversation. At least one person is going to ask you if you watched Grey's Anatomy the night before, and if you didn't, they're going to tell you about it. Embrace the melodrama. You know you want to.
And you know, if nothing else... McDreamy sure has nice hair.

that episode was horrible. poor georgeyy!!
however, in later episodes..he did carry out the drama a little too far. he was acting like a little girl..to say the least. It takes two to have sex..meredith was vulnerable..and george could see that.
