Great to see Entourage, Weeds, Dexter, and Big Love along with Californication and Pushing Daisies all getting attention. Though I have no respect at all for the tainted award that seems to applaude the average nominee.

I agree. It was nice to see those shows getting the credit they deserve.

Of course I wish all the best to Californication I haven't seen most of the shows mentioned here, the reason for this is because I am from Europe (which is not a country LOL) and most of the shows aren't here

MINNIE DRIVER – THE RICHES
EDIE FALCO – THE SOPRANOS
SALLY FIELD – BROTHERS & SISTERS
HOLLY HUNTER – SAVING GRACE
KYRA SEDGWICK – THE CLOSER

Wow, these are all amazing actors.

CHRISTINA APPLEGATE – SAMANTHA WHO?

Really? Anyone watch this show that can confirm or deny?

I have to say that I don't watch a lot of these shows. I don't have HBO, so I am not personally familiar with their nominees.

I watch Dexter and think it's amazing. I watch Damages and the acting is good - Glenn Close is great in everything. Ted Danson was good too.

I haven't watched Grey's Anantomy since last season..I found it stupid and trite last year. The first season was good. Was this a good season?

I'd like to know which movies and actors were nominated, too...

an amzing list but as always an amazing list of people mssing out for example, Casey Affleck got nominate for Jesse Jamaes but Brad Pitt did not, that has gotta hurt? Especially in lieu of Celebrity Fox's Post

Movie nominees added up above now!

Patricia, when you say

CHRISTINA APPLEGATE – SAMANTHA WHO?

Really? Anyone watch this show that can confirm or deny?

Are you asking if she's really in the show, or if she's worthy of a nomination? LoL I've actually never seen the show myself but my parents kind of like it. And yes, she is the actress in it if that was your question.

I was asking if she is worthy of the nomination. I only saw the show once and didn't really like it.

Thanks for posting the movies!

Patricia,

That's what I thought, but just wanted to be sure. I too was wondering if she was worthy of the nomination. For some reason the show never really attracted me enough to start watching, so I guess I can't say yes or no. Anyone else?

Your welcome on the movies part! I can't believe how many of them I haven't seen yet...
