Gilligan's Island remake to hit big screens
March 6th 2010 23:37
Looks like we'll have a movie adaptation of a hit show about an island. No, not that Island fans of Lost, but another one that goes by the name of Gilligan's. Warner Bros. and Atlas Entertainment have signed on with original series' creator Sherwood Schwartz (along with son Lloyd Schwartz), producers Charles Roven (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) and Richard Suckle (Scooby-Doo), and writer Brad Copeland (Arrested Development, My Names Is Earl) to bring back Gilligan and the gang.
Not so sure how I feel about this. I guess if the casting was right (see the new Get Smart) it might be okay. On the other hand, are we going to get another Brady Bunch movie? What do you say? Is it worth it? Who would you cast as Gilligan?

I'd like to see Matthew Lilliard but he is probably too tall to play the part.
I'll see it no matter what, I just hope they don't mess it up like the Dukes Of Hazzard remake.
