July 3rd 2008 06:16

Slow news week=quiz time! This one's a fun one. "Who's Your TV SIdekick?" I took the quiz and found out that mine was...

Nice! For once a quiz result I agree with. It would be great to have Ando as a sidekick! And yes, I would enjoy traveling through time...and having a sword. LoL Find out who your TV sidekick is HERE, and be sure to post your results below!

Hollywood holds it’s breath as we wait to see what happens after SAG contracts run out at midnight tonight. Still reeling from the effects of the Writers’ Strike, everyone’s nervously hoping an agreement can come soon. It would be nice to have an actual season of shows this year, but I’m not holding my breath. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the boards and chants come out again as early as July…Oh yay, as if a summer of reality shows wasn’t enough, we may get an entire year! Oh the horrors! If that happens, well, I might just have to go on strike myself…barricaded with an armful of half-a-season newly released DVDs. I'm putting my faith in lots of special features...

Oh please, not another strike!

June 24th 2008 02:15

Don't get me wrong, I fully supported the writers and am glad they got their deal, but I don't know if I can make it through another strike

I’ll start off by saying that no one could totally replace my love the original cast of my favorite classic TV show. That being said, Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway do this Get Smart fan justice bringing Maxwell Smart, Agent 86, and Agent 99 back to the big screen

I can’t believe it, but as of yesterday, it’s been a year since I took over the blogging of TV Chit Chat, and what a year it’s been! Aside from the (dare utter it?) Writers’ Strike and lack of awards shows, there were some definite quotable quotes, *GASP!* moments, and great new shows actually worth watching. And so, in honor of this season, I thought it only appropriate to recap the year in the form of…*ahem* original parody of a popular song

You can't beat an Olympic champion! As I said from the first episode of this season's Dancing with the Stars, I thought Kristi Yamaguchi would win. Tonight, the Olympic gold medalist was the first woman to win the competition since season one! Congrats Kristi! You go girl!!
