Bones: The Plain in the Prodigy
March 4th 2010 20:42
Booth and Bones find the remains of a teenager on a traintrack, possibly an immigrant, Cam has to deal with Michelle dating, and Clark spends all day out in the sun trying to trackdown bones along the traintrack. Turns out the victim wasn’t an immigrant, but an Amish boy named Levi who was amazing at piano. He left home, discovered his love for music, felt bad for it, broke his own hands so he wouldn’t be tempted anymore, and ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was murdered because he went back for a medal one of his outside world friends had given him, and walked in on a robbery. Booth and Bones take the video of Levi playing the piano to his parents, who, despite being Amish, are amazed at the beauty in their son’s gift.
Booth: You know when I was a kid, Bones, I wanted to be a hobo. I wanted to ride the rails, play the guitar—
Bones: Be malnourished, riddled with preventable disease…
Booth: You know what? You could make Santa Clause cry, you really could.
~*~*~
Booth: Sorry, no conjecting, just being Boothy.
~*~*~
Cam: Sorry, new mom.
~*~*~
Sweets: Guys, I think I know what these are. There are 88 of these? 52 are relatively light in color, 36 dark.
Cam: Okay…
Sweets: A piano.
Cam: You think this is a piano?
Hodgins: For Fred Flintstone maybe.
~*~*~
Hodgins: What, are you doing?
Sweets: Playing the theme to Titanic.
Hodgins: I’m not hearing it, I hate that song.
Sweets: Not the way I play it.
~*~*~
Bones: The first time you should be in love, you know, totally googoo for the person.
