CBS will give local fans a special advance screening of the season two premiere of “Hawaii Five-0” during a Sunset on the Beach event Sept. 10. Cast members Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park and newcomers Terry O’Quinn and Tom Sizemore will be on hand for a red carpet arrival, CBS said.


The rest of the nation will not get to see the episode until the network premiere Sept. 19.

Honolulu Film Office commissioner Walea Constantinau said the network knows how important “Five-0” is to local fans.

“This show is so close to the islands and the island people feel so close to it that it is a way for the creators and CBS to give back in the place where it is filmed and celebrate the show with everybody,” she said.
