The offical XF2 movie poster

March 28th 2008 02:24
Thanks to the XFN team and Shadekeiko, we finally have an official poster for the new X-files movie (click to view a larger size). But still no title...

In usual X-files style, the poster gives absolutely nothing away about the plot. Nice.

Bones and Moonlight fans listen up!

March 27th 2008 22:24

Want to meet David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel, Alex O'Loughlin, and Sophia Myles? Well April is the month for you!

The Paley Center for Media’s “Media as Entertainment: Drama” is featuring nights dedicated to Bones, Moonlight, and The Riches.

From their official site:

Make No Bones About It
Wednesday, April 9, 2008; 7:00 pm

It's Moonlighting meets Law & Order and CSI. Forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth solve murders that involve victims in states of advanced decomposition, backed by a colorful staff of scientists at the Jeffersonian. Brennan and Booth's investigations engross the viewer both intellectually and emotionally as their contrasting, yet complimentary, personalities and world views are further explored and revealed with each new case. Join the cast and creative team of Bones for a conversation about one of TV's most thoughtful crime dramas.

In Person: David Boreanaz, "Special Agent Seeley Booth"; Emily Deschanel, "Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan"; Cast and creative team

Moonlight and Vampires: Never Out of Date
Tuesday, April 22, 2008; 7:00 pm

Long live Mick St. John! Not that he has much choice. A reluctant vampire turned L.A. private eye—"If I can help others it might make up for what I am"—Mick (Alex O'Loughlin) is the tormented soul of CBS's revisionist first-year supernatural drama Moonlight. Join him and the rest of the show's cast and creative team for a screening and discussion, and see what really happens when vampires come out at night.

In Person: Joel Silver, Executive Producer; Alex O'Loughlin, "Mick St. John"; Sophia Myles, "Beth Turner"; Jason Dohring, "Josef Konstantin"; Shannyn Sossamon, "Coraline"

After all the great surprises from The X-files Paley event, I’d say you guys are in for a good show! Wish I could be there! Visit their site for more information and to buy tickets!

For the first time in the history of the show, it was a double elimination last night. After a massive amount of recap (if you missed the first two episodes, you really just had to watch last night!), one of the guys and one of the girls said goodbye to competitive dancing.

So who was it? Don’t worry, I won’t make you two hours like the rest of us had to last night. [ Click here to read more ]

So I was flipping through my Entertainment Weekly for this week and low and behold, there was the Spring TV Preview full of mini-spoilery goodness. Thanks to the strike most shows have been forced to condense and speed up story lines, often dropping others or saving them for next season.

This is both good and bad, but most importantly, it means we're finally getting new episodes of our favorite shows! Yay! [ Click here to read more ]

What are your favorite commercials?

March 24th 2008 05:52

Okay, so we all have our favorite shows, but what about all those annoying breaks in between? Most of the time commercial breaks are reserved for trips to the bathroom or the fridge, but every once in a while there’s a shining moment amongst the chorus of “Buy this!”s, “Go here!”s, and “For a limited time only!”s that make us stop and say, wait, did I just see that

As everyone who has seen "the pictures" has been debating since David Duchovny (jokingly?) stated, "We staged that" at Wondercon, "Is it or isn't said scene real?" (As I don't want to spoil people who see this on the main page who don't want to be spoiled, I'll refrain from stating what "said scene" is until further down. [ Click here to read more ]

I really don’t like Juliet. In fact, I actually found myself shouting, “I hate you!” at the TV this week, but alas, I’m getting ahead of myself…

Quick recap of last week’s episode: “The Other Woman” (a.k.a. the newest Juliet-centered episode).

Dream a little dream...

March 11th 2008 05:07

I’ve had some weird dreams (and believe me, that’s an understatement!) I’ve been stabbed more times then I can count, survived a volcano that shot up while I was walking down the street and started shooting video game fruit at me, been kidnapped by Iago the parrot in Aladdin with the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean, run crying because the mean little kids in my class were threatening to pull out my one magical hair, and had all my teeth fall out because my gums melted due to faulty toothpaste…But alas, all that is for another time
