"Bones, it’s after midnight. Hmm? Christmas Eve Day. Both an eve and a day, it’s a Christmas miracle."-Agent Booth
Just wanted to wish everyone a VERY Merry Christmas! May your days be blessed with safe travels, home cooked meals, and lots of fun times with the family!!
Christmas Quote of the Week:
Christmas is going home to Michigan and heading out into the woods with your brothers to cut down a 12 foot Christmas tree and you all decorate it together - brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Forty people who all love you and are happy to see you. That, my friend, is the true meaning of Christmas.--Zack
And now a festive video because I've always loved the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas videos.
It's that time of year again, the time when all our shows have "the Christmas episode" before going on hiatus and the usual favorite movies start flooding the airwaves. So what's your favorite Christmas show?
Are you a devoted "you'll shoot your eye out" fan of the 24-hour A Christmas Story marathon every year? Or maybe Miracle on 34th Street is more your thing. How about Tim Burton's wonderfully creepy yet Christmas-y cute The Nightmare Before Christmas? Perhaps you've always been a sucker for the classics like It's a Wonderful Life or A Christmas Carol. How about the Home Alones?
Then again there's always the great TV show specials. Charlie Brown's Christmas anyone? And how can we forget Mulder and Scully's run in with The Ghosts Who Stole Christmas, Mork's first Christmas, or the festive fun with the Brady Bunch and Star Wars gangs? (Not together of course, but how crazy would that Christmas be?!) And how have I never seen the Ninja Turtle's or He-Man/She-Ra Christmas specials? Hmmm...
My TV show Christmas episode winners for this year go to Bones' Santa in the Slush and Supernatural's A Very Supernatural Christmas. Both hilariously good this year!

With the Christmas hiatus and the writers’ strike going on, there’s not much new TV to write about, but here’s a great holiday present sent to us from Sam. Three X-files versions of The Night Before Christmas written by fellow philes over the years. Haha Fun times. [ Click here to read more ]
I don’t know how these people do it, but congratulations to this years Discovery Channel Everest team! They all made it to the summit and back safely, albeit exhausted and some without injury
Thanks to Holly and X-files News for this one. We were getting our first set pics within three days of filming, and now 8 days into filming we have our first video
I hate having two CW stations that don’t show the same thing at the same time! ARGH! Long story short, I went to my sister’s Christmas concert on Thursday, came home all excited to watch the Supernatural Christmas episode and…found an hour recorded of a stupid message about having to black out the regularly scheduled programming because of some sports FCC thing. Grrr…One more reason I hate sports. LoL
So as you all probably know by now, Gillian Anderson is auctioning off 2 tickets to the set of the new X-files movie on her site. The auction starts tomorrow, so good luck to all you X-philes who are lucky enough to afford trying to win! [ Click here to read more ]
Congratulations Grey’s Anatomy, Pushing Daisies, House, and Californication! No nominations for Lost or Heroes this year, in fact a surprising lack of nominations from all the main networks...Looks like it's HBO, Showtime, and FX's year this year
Only 3 days into filming and we already have our first semi-spoiler pics. Don't worry, nothing that'll ruin it for you X-philes who want to be surprised, mostly just proof that it's actually happening! haha
Break out the sunflower seeds and ice tea, I can’t believe I’m saying it—XF2 it’s finally here! X-philes all over the world, after nearly 6 years of waiting, Mulder and Scully are finally back! Filming for XF2, code name: “Done One”, is slated to begin shooting today in The X-files original home of Vancouver, Canada. David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Chris Carter, and Frank Spotnitz, I salute you for never giving up on your loyal fans
Only 4 MORE DAYS till shooting starts on the long awaited X-files 2 movie (or as we all know it’s being called Done One)! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m so excited I can’t stop grinning! There’s been a flood of news updates, so I’ll try and sum most of them up here. Let’s see, where to start
The strike-enforced early season finale comes as action-packed as ever. I’m not quite sure where to start without seriously spoiling it for those of you who haven’t been able to see it yet, so let’s do it this way. For those of you who don’t want to be too spoiled, I’ll just say this: 2 Heroes come back from the dead (although we already knew one of them was alive), 2 Heroes die, one gets kidnapped, two switch sides (…ish), and one gets buried alive
After Bryce’s sudden reappearance and the kiss (or as Sarah calls it, “The Incident”), Chuck isn’t so sure Sarah’s coming back. When he doesn’t see her car parked in her normal spot outside, Casey tells him not to worry, that they’ll get him a new handler
